A new look for Speers Point Pool

Great to see better facilities being provided at our local pools. I joined Mayor Kay Fraser at Speers Point pool this morning to check out the new shade structures, seating and turfing which were jointly funded by the council and State Government.
We were able to get almost $700,000 in State funding from last year's Stronger Country Communities fund for new facilities not just at Speers Point but also at Morisset, Charlestown, Swansea and West Wallsend pools
