?? Covid update - Wednesday ??
?? No new cases in the Hunter-New England region today. That's five days in a row since last week's cases were tracked and contained. Great job everyone!
?? NSW has recorded 18 new cases today, all are in the Sydney and South Coast regions and all cases are now in quarantine.
?? One new case is a returned overseas traveller in hotel quarantine, two are returned travellers from Victoria now in quarantine, 13 are locally acquired from known sources while two are from unknown sources. That remains a concern for NSW Health.
?? No deaths in NSW over the past 24 hours.
?? Premier Gladys Berejiklian has today flagged a tightening of restrictions given the ongoing clusters.
?? Active cases in NSW, which are not shown in the NSW Health Graph, are at 289 and all are obviously in quarantine.
?? Sadly, Victoria has recorded 410 new cases and 21 deaths in the past 24 hours. Active cases in Victoria are now more than 9000.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
