No new cases in the Hunter-New England region for the 30th consecutive day. In fact, the region is now Covid-free with zero active cases. There were 10 new cases

?? No new cases in the Hunter-New England region for the 30th consecutive day. In fact, the region is now Covid-free with zero active cases.
?? There were 10 new cases reported statewide over the past 24 hours. Four of those are returned overseas travellers in quarantine.
?? Of the remainder, four are linked to a known Sydney case and cluster and the other two are under investigation.
?? There were just 59 new cases in Victoria over the past 24 hours and a further 5 deaths. There were two new cases recorded in Queensland.
?? Australia's death toll now stands at 753, with the NSW toll still at 54 and Victoria's climbing to 666.
?? The number of active cases in NSW stands at 160. The number of active cases in Victoria is still falling but stands at 1872. There are 25 active cases in Queensland.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
