?? There were no new cases in the Hunter-New England region over the past 24 hours - that's 33 consecutive days.
?? Current active cases in the Hunter-New England region: ZERO!
?? There were nine new cases reported statewide over the past 24 hours. Of those, one is a returned overseas travellers in quarantine and seven are linked to a known case or cluster (five more linked to Concord Hospital and two to the CBD cluster). The remaining case was recorded in south-east Sydney and is under investigation.
?? A further 73 new cases have been reported in Victoria over the past 24 hours and another 11 deaths. There were 8 new cases recorded in Queensland.
?? Australia's death toll now stands at 781, with the NSW toll still at 54 and Victoria's climbing to 694.
?? The number of active cases in NSW is falling and stands at 139. There are 1622 active cases in Victoria and 29 active in Queensland.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
