?? There were no new cases in the Hunter-New England region over the past 24 hours - that's 34 consecutive days.
?? Current active cases in the Hunter-New England region: ZERO!
?? There were 7 new cases reported statewide over the past 24 hours. Of those, two are returned overseas travellers in quarantine and five are linked to a known case or cluster in Sydney. The number of new cases have been in single digits for a week.
?? A further 51 new cases have been reported in Victoria over the past 24 hours and another 7 deaths.
?? Australia's death toll now stands at 788, with the NSW toll still at 54 and Victoria's climbing to 701.
?? The number of active cases in NSW now stands at 142. There are 1483 active cases in Victoria and 27 active in Queensland.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
