There were 10 new cases reported statewide over the past 24 hours. No new cases in the Hunter-New England region over the past 24 hours - that's 40 consecutive

?? No new cases in the Hunter-New England region over the past 24 hours - that's 40 consecutive days.
?? There are ZERO active cases currently in the Hunter-New England region.
?? There were 10 new cases reported statewide over the past 24 hours. Of those, six are returned overseas travellers in hotel quarantine and four are linked to a known Sydney case or cluster.
?? A further 42 new cases have been reported in Victoria over the past 24 hours and 8 more deaths. No new cases in QLD over the same period.
?? Australia's death toll remains at 824, with the NSW toll still at 54 and Victoria's 737. There hasn't been a Covid-related death in NSW since August 16.
?? The number of active cases in NSW is 147. There are 1040 active cases in Victoria and 28 active in Queensland.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
