?? NSW has recorded 5 new cases in the past 24 hours but only 1 is a returned overseas traveller.
?? The other four live in the same house in SW Sydney, but the actual source is still under investigation. A school attended by two of the family members is now closed for 14 days while other places visited by the family in the Hoxton Park area have been notified. Testing has been ramped up in that area.
?? The Hunter-New England region has now gone 83 days without a locally-acquired case.
?? Victoria has recorded 3 new cases over the past 24 hours but no further deaths. No new cases in QLD. WA and SA are yet to report today's data, but both States each recorded 1 new case late yesterday. No new cases anywhere else.
?? Australia's death toll remains at 907 with the NSW toll still at 55 and Victoria's at 819.
?? The number of active cases in NSW is 53. There are 76 active cases in Victoria, 5 in QLD, 50 in WA, 12 in SA and one in the ACT. Tasmania and the NT remain Covid-free.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
