?? COVID UPDATE - Thursday November 5
?? If you thought the US election wasn't strange enough already, consider that voters in North Dakota appear likely to have elected Republican Dave Andahl to the State Legislature despite him dying from Covid four weeks ago. ??True story! Anyway...
?? In good news, there was NO community transmission of Covid in NSW over the past 24 hours. There were, however, two cases recorded among the returned travellers in hotel quarantine. No new cases in Victoria or Queensland either.
?? The Hunter-New England region has now gone 90 days without a locally-acquired case.
?? Australia's death toll remains at 907 with the NSW toll still at 55 and Victoria's at 819.
?? The number of active cases in NSW is 49. There are now just 20 active cases in Victoria, 8 in QLD, 14 in WA, 12 in SA and 5 in the NT. Tasmania and the ACT remain Covid-free.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
?? Don't forget, if you have any symptoms, however minor, please self-isolate and get tested as soon as possible.
