?? COVID UPDATE - Monday November 16
?? The good news is that NSW has recorded zero community transmission for the 9th day in a row, and Victoria is still recording no new cases. The bad news is that South Australia has a worrying new cluster that has so far recorded 17 new cases in the past 36 hours.
?? The Hunter-New England region has now gone 101 days without a locally-acquired case.
?? There were just 2 new cases recorded among the returned travellers in NSW hotel quarantine.
?? Australia's death toll remains at 907 with the NSW toll still at 55 and Victoria's at 819.
?? The number of active cases in NSW is 20 (all returned overseas travellers). There are 3 active cases in Victoria, 8 in QLD, 13 in WA, 19 in SA and 8 in the NT. Tasmania and the ACT remain Covid-free.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
