From today, wearing a mask is mandatory if you’re visiting supermarkets or shopping centres, indoor theatres or entertainment venues, places of worship, casinos or gaming lounges, hair salons, or travelling on public transport in Sydney, the Central Coast, Blue Mountains or Wollongong.

This does NOT currently apply to Lake Macquarie or Newcastle, but it might be a good idea to wear one anyway if you’re visiting similar indoor places locally.
