?? No new cases of community transmission anywhere in NSW for the sixth day in a row. In fact, there has been no community transmission anywhere In Australia over that same period, standing in stark contrast to the rest of the world where, sadly, new records have been posted almost daily over the past week. In the past three days, the US has recorded more 12,500 deaths while the UK has recorded 4500 deaths.
?? The Hunter-New England region has now gone 169 days without a locally-acquired case.
?? There was just 1 new case among the returned overseas travellers in hotel quarantine over the past 24 hours.
?? Australia's death toll remains at 909 with 56 in NSW and 820 in Victoria.
?? The number of active cases in NSW has fallen again and now stands at 78. Victoria has 33, there are 21 in QLD, 12 in WA, 5 in SA and 8 in the NT. Tasmania and the ACT have zero.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
