?? The good news continues today: no new cases of community transmission anywhere in NSW for the 12th consecutive day. That's not about luck, it's about good management.
?? NSW Health has also confirmed that John Hunter Hospital will be among the first in NSW to act as a vaccination hub when the vaccines become available in the next few months.
?? The Hunter-New England region has now gone 175 days without a locally-acquired case.
?? There were 3 new cases among the returned overseas travellers in hotel quarantine over the past 24 hours.
?? The number of active cases in NSW is down for the 18th day in a row and now stands at 26, less than Victoria which has 27. There are 12 in QLD, 14 in WA and 5 in the NT. South Australia, Tasmania and the ACT all have zero active cases.
?? Australia's death toll remains at 909 with 56 in NSW and 820 in Victoria.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
?? Don't forget, if you have any symptoms, however minor, please self-isolate and get tested immediately.
