?? 21 days in a row, no new cases of community transmission anywhere in NSW and just the 1 new case among the returned overseas travellers in quarantine.
?? The Hunter-New England region has now gone 184 days without a locally-acquired case.
?? As an additional precautionary measure, NSW Health has introduced day 16 COVID-19 tests for overseas travellers who have been released from hotel quarantine. This is in addition to the current testing on days 2 and 12 for all returned travellers while in hotel quarantine
?? The number of active cases in NSW is down to 9. There are 21 in Victoria, 6 in QLD, 11 in WA, 2 in SA and 3 in the NT. Tasmania and the ACT have zero active cases.
?? Australia's death toll remains at 909 with 56 in NSW and 820 in Victoria.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
?? Don't forget, if you have any symptoms, however minor, please self-isolate and get tested immediately.
