¿ COVID UPDATE - Sunday March 28
¿ All good in NSW - no new cases of community transmission for the 11th day in a row, and no cases among the returned overseas travellers in quarantine.
¿ That’s not the case in QLD though where another case of community transmission has been recorded. It has prompted new advice from NSW Health. If you have been to Brisbane since March 11 or hosted visitors from the area, please check the latest advice here: https://www.qld.gov.au/.../current-status/contact-tracing...
¿ So far, 89,196 people in NSW have been vaccinated, and 478,465 nationally.
¿ The Hunter Region has now gone 234 days without a locally-transmitted case.
¿ NSW currently has 59 active cases (all are returned travellers in quarantine). QLD has 71, WA has 10 and SA has 14. The ACT, NT, Tasmania and Victoria have zero (Victoria has not been taking returned overseas travellers but will start again on April 1).
¿ Australia's death toll remains at 909 with 56 of those in NSW.
