¿ COVID UPDATE - Wednesday May 26
¿ There are now 15 cases of community transmission in the latest outbreak in Victoria. At the moment, there are no travel restrictions between States, but if you've been in Victoria recently you should check the list of exposure sites and take the appropriate action. You can check those sites here.
¿ It's now been 293 days since we had a case of community transmission in the Hunter-New England Health District.
¿ A reminder also that there's a small 'satellite vaccination hub' at Toronto. All people aged 50+ are now eligible for a vaccine and this hub is welcoming everyone - you don't have to be 'on their books'. Inquiries and bookings: 0436 817 128.
¿ NSW currently has 47 active cases, Victoria has 23, QLD has 16, WA has 3, SA has 2 and the NT has 2. TAS and the ACT have zero. (Note: all active cases, except those in VIC, are returned overseas travellers in quarantine).
¿ Australia's death toll remains at 910, with 56 of those in NSW.
