Hazard reduction burn cancelled

While yesterday's rain was welcomed, it has led to the cancellation of a significant hazard reduction burn planned for Morisset tomorrow (Saturday).
NSW Rural Fire Service had planned to burn about 38 hectares of land on the west side of Wyee Road and south of Old Wyee Road - that's the bushland which runs between the M1 and Wyee Road to the south of the industrial estate.
The burn will be rescheduled so I'll let you know when that happens.
Hopefully the weather doesn't play havoc with too many more of these burns before next summer.
