COVID UPDATE - Friday 7am 
A nervous wait today as results of all the tests conducted yesterday start arriving at NSW Health. The 7-day Stay At Home Order is now in place. Please familiarise yourself with the rules which have been updated for Newcastle and the Hunter. This link includes info on arrangements for child care, travel, home visitors, construction etc. Please understand that I'm doing the very best to answer as many questions as possible, but it's impossible to answer every single one. The answers to most FAQs can be found in the links provided in this post. If you experience the slightest of symptoms, get tested. Local testing clinics will be operating over extended hours. You can find your nearest clinic here. Businesses needing financial assistance can find more details here. Supermarkets and other essential retail will be open. One person per household can shop for essentials at any time but must remain within their council area (and not travel further than 10km from home if they have to cross a council boundary). What constitutes an essential business is on the following link. If it's not on the list, it's not essential or exempted from the Public Health Order. That info here.
