Thankfully, people can now (from today) get push notifications or instant alerts on their smartphone instead of having to log in and manually check for Covid case alerts and exposure sites.

This means that people can be instantly notified via the Service NSW app when they may have been exposed to the virus at a particular venue.

You will, however, need to make sure the ‘push notifications’ function is turned on in your phone. See the image above for instructions on how to do that, or follow these simple steps:

¿Log in to your Service NSW app
¿Go to the 'settings' icon at the top right corner
¿Go to 'notifications'
¿Turn on 'push notifications'
Any alerts will be pushed to your phone via the app.
