There were 286 new cases reported statewide in the past 24 hours, with 57 of those in the Hunter-New England Area Health District. Of those,

¿ 13 new cases in Hunter Region, with 57 in HNE Health district
¿ There were 286 new cases reported statewide in the past 24 hours, with 57 of those in the Hunter-New England Area Health District. Of those, however, just 13 are in the Hunter Region with only 3 in Lake Macquarie.
¿ OF THE NEW LOCAL CASES IN THE HEALTH DISTRICT:
¿ 6 are from Port Stephens LGA
- 2 from Shoal Bay
- 2 from Raymond Terrace
- 1 from Boat Harbour
- 1 from Heatherbrae
¿ 3 are from Lake Macquarie LGA
- 1 from Belmont North
- 1 from Gateshead
- 1 from Teralba
¿ 2 are from Newcastle LGA
- 2 from Warabrook
¿ 1 is from Dungog LGA
- 1 from Clarence Town
¿ 1 is from Maitland LGA
- 1 from Gillieston Heights

38 cases are linked, 14 are unlinked, 5 are still
under investigation.
21 were infectious in the community. 31 were
isolating while infectious. 5 are still under
investigation.

- 94.1% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 90.6% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 77,119 tests
- 286 new locally acquired cases
- 1 new overseas acquired cases
- 287 total new cases
- 236 people in hospital
- 34 people in ICU
- 2 deaths
