COVID UPDATE - MONDAY DECEMBER 6 Zer
new cases in Lake Macquarie again today.
Lower Hunter: 4 new cases Hunter health district: 5 new cases. Statewide: 208 new cases. Of the new cases in the health district:
3 are from Newcastle LGA- 3 from Tighes Hill
1 is from Cessnock LGA- 1 from East Branxton
1 is from Mid Coast LGA- 1 from Wherrol Flat
- 1 of the total active cases is being cared for in hospital, none are in ICU.
- 4 cases are linked and 1 is unlinked.
- 4 were infectious in the community and 1 was isolating while infectious.
STATEWIDE- 94.6% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 92.8% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 81.4% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 77.2% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
Over the past 24 hours:
- 61,132 tests
- 208 total new cases
- 152 people in hospital
- 24 people in ICU
- 0 deaths
