There were 674 new cases have been recorded in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours, including 190 in Lake Macquarie.Hunter Region: 640 new cases.

¿ 674 new cases have been recorded in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours, including 190 in Lake Macquarie.
¿ Hunter Region: 640 new cases.
¿ Statewide: 2213 new cases.

 

¿There are now 12 people being treated for Covid in local hospitals, with 3 in ICU.
 
¿ Of the new cases:
- 308 are from Newcastle LGA
- 190 are from Lake Macquarie LGA
- 53 are from Maitland LGA
- 41 are from Port Stephens LGA
- 24 are from Cessnock LGA
- 13 are from Mid Coast LGA
- 11 are from Singleton LGA
- 8 are from Tamworth Regional LGA
- 7 are from Muswellbrook LGA
- 5 are from Upper Hunter LGA
- 4 are from Gunnedah LGA
- 3 are from Inverell LGA
- 2 are from Armidale Regional LGA
- 2 are from Moree Plains LGA
- 2 are from Walcha LGA
- 1 is from Dungog LGA

- 94.8% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 93.3% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 81.4% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 77.9% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 127,583 tests
- 2,213 total new cases
- 215 people in hospital
- 24 people in ICU
