1612 new cases have been recorded in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours, including 342 in Lake Macquarie. Hunter Region: 1331 new cases. We now have 8208 active cases in the health district.

¿ 1612 new cases have been recorded in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours, including 342 in Lake Macquarie.
¿ Hunter Region: 1331 new cases.
¿ We now have 8208 active cases in the helth district.
¿ We also have 65 local people being cared for in our hospitals, and 4 are in ICU.
¿ Statewide: 20,794 new cases, and four deaths.
¿ Of the new cases in the health district:
- 342 are from Lake Macquarie LGA
- 320 are from Newcastle LGA
- 197 are from Maitland LGA
- 143 are from Cessnock LGA
- 141 are from Port Stephens LGA
- 113 are from Singleton LGA
- 90 are from Tamworth Reg. LGA
- 80 are from Mid Coast LGA
- 46 are from Moree Plains LGA
- 32 are from Muswellbrook LGA
- 27 are from Narrabri LGA
- 23 are from Upper Hunter LGA
- 20 are from Dungog LGA
- 15 are from Armidale LGA
- 11 are from Gunnedah LGA
- 4 are from Glen Innes Severn LGA
- 4 are from Inverell LGA
- 1 is from Liverpool Plains LGA
- 1 is from Walcha LGA

- 95% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 93.6% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 81.5% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 78.2% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 96,765 tests
- 20,794 total new cases
- 1,204 people in hospital
- 95 people in ICU
