1,342 new cases have been recorded in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours, including 339 in Lake Macquarie. Hunter Region: 1,159 new cases. We now have 7,005 active cases in the health district.

¿ 1,342 new cases have been recorded in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours, including 339 in Lake Macquarie.
¿ Hunter Region: 1,159 new cases.
¿ We now have 7,005 active cases in the District.
¿ We also have 50 people being cared for in our hospitals, 3 are in ICU.
¿ Statewide: 18,278 new cases, and two deaths.
¿ Of the new cases in the health district:
- 379 are from Newcastle LGA
- 339 are from Lake Macquarie LGA
- 159 are from Maitland LGA
- 84 are from Cessnock LGA
- 72 are from Mid Coast LGA
- 71 are from Port Stephens LGA
- 63 are from Tamworth Reg. LGA
- 53 are from Muswellbrook LGA
- 34 are from Singleton LGA
- 23 are from Upper Hunter LGA
- 19 are from Gunnedah LGA
- 15 are from Narrabri LGA
- 8 are from Armidale LGA
- 7 are from Dungog LGA
- 5 are from Moree Plains LGA

- 95% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine

- 78.2% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
