2527 new cases have been recorded in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours, including 472 in Lake Macquarie. Hunter Region: 1912 new cases. We now have 21,823 active cases in the health district.

¿ 2527 new cases have been recorded in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours, including 472 in Lake Macquarie.
¿ Hunter Region: 1912 new cases.
¿ We now have 21,823 active cases in the health district.
¿ We also have 106 local people being cared for in our hospitals, and 9 are in ICU.
¿ Statewide: 30,062 new cases, and 16 more deaths.
¿ Of the new cases in the health district:

- 441 are from Newcastle LGA
- 346 are from Maitland LGA
- 220 are from Cessnock LGA
- 219 are from Mid Coast LGA
- 208 are from Port Stephens LGA

- 78.1% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 98,986 tests
