Update on phone service outage

UPDATE ON PHONE SERVICE OUTAGE I've had a lot of inquiries from people asking about problems with phone, internet and mobile services in the Toronto, Argenton, Edgeworth, Dora Creek, Blackalls Park, Awaba and Arcadia Vale areas over the past few days. Telstra has provided an update to say the problems should be fixed by 7pm tomorrow (Thursday). They, along with other service providers, have had an issue with cables in the local area and that's been worsened by a shortage of skilled repair staff because of Covid. I know a lot of local businesses have been impacted by the outage. If you have a business which has been impacted, Telstra has advised you to lodge a fault claim with them to make the compensation process easier. Telecommunications actually fall into the federal jurisdiction and not the State, so while I hope that info is useful, I haven't been able to get any more information at this stage.
