¿ COVID UPDATE - 11.30am, THURSDAY FEBRUARY 3
* The 24-hour reporting period by NSW Health and Hunter-New England Health has changed. The figures below relate to the 24 hours to 4pm the previous day.
¿ Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 53 (down 6 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 3 (up 1 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients currently in NSW hospitals: 2578 (down 44 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in NSW ICU: 160 (down 10 since yesterday, 68 on ventilation)
¿ New cases in Hunter Health district since yesterday: 1636 (stable, 669 PCR and 967 RAT)
¿ Covid cases in Lake Macquarie over the past four weeks 8128 (down 613 on previous day's figure).
¿ New cases statewide since yesterday: 12,632 (up 825 on the previous day, PCR 5485 + 7147 RAT)
¿ Lives lost in NSW over the past 24 hours: 38 (up 11 since yesterday). This brings the total number of lives lost to Covid in NSW to 1489 (in Australia 3976).
¿ Lives lost in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours: 1 (a woman in her 80s from Lake Macquarie LGA. My sincere condolences go out to her family and friends.)

¿ STATEWIDE VACCINATION RATES
- 95.5% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 94% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 41.7% of people have had three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 83.3% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 78.5% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 41% of people aged 5-11 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
