Covid update - Saturday

New cases in Lake Macquarie over the past 24 hours: 131. Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 41 (down 2 since yesterday). Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 2 (same as yesterday).
¿ COVID UPDATE - 11.15am, SATURDAY FEBRUARY 12
¿ New cases in Lake Macquarie over the past 24 hours: 131.
¿ Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 41 (down 2 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 2 (same as yesterday)
¿ Covid patients currently in NSW hospitals: 1650 (down 66 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in NSW ICU: 104 (down 4 on previous day, 47 on ventilation)
¿ New cases in Hunter-New England Health district in past 24 hours: 1181 (down 197 on previous day's figure but still the highest daily total in NSW. 462 PCR + 719 RAT).
¿ New cases statewide since yesterday: 8183 (down 767 on the previous day, PCR 3288 + 4895 RAT)
¿ Lives lost in NSW over the past 24 hours: 32 (13 more than yesterday). This brings the total number of lives lost to Covid in NSW to 1693 (in Australia 4530).
¿ Lives lost in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours: 2 (a woman in her 70s from Newcastle LGA, and a male in his 90s from Singleton LGA). My sincere condolences go to their families and friends.)

¿ STATEWIDE VACCINATION RATES
- 95.6% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 94.2% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 47.3% of people have had three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 83.5% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 78.8% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 44.9% of people aged 5-11 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
