Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 35 (stable, same as yesterday). Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 2 (stable, same as yesterday). Covid patients currently in NSW hospitals: 1293 (up 5 since yesterday).
¿ COVID UPDATE - 11.50am, TUESDAY FEBRUARY 22
¿ Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 35 (stable, same as yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 2 (stable, same as yesterday)
¿ Covid patients currently in NSW hospitals: 1293 (up 5 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in NSW ICU: 71 (down 3 on the previous day, 31 on ventilation)
¿ New cases in Hunter-New England Health district in past 24 hours: 1242 (up 506 on previous day's figure, due mainly to a catch-up on RAT data - 224 PCR + 1018 RAT).
¿ New cases statewide since yesterday: 8752 (up 3836 on the previous day, 2716 PCR + 6036 RAT)
¿ New cases in Lake Macquarie over the past four weeks: **Today's figure not yet available.
¿ Lives lost in NSW over the past 24 hours: 14 (7 more than the previous day). This brings the total number of lives lost to Covid in NSW to 1855 (in Australia 4962).
¿ Lives lost in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours: 1 (a man in his 90’s from the Cessnock LGA. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends.)

¿ STATEWIDE VACCINATION RATES
- 95.7% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 94.3% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine

- 83.6% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 79% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 46.7% of people aged 5-11 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
