COVID UPDATE - 11AM, THURSDAY MARCH 10 Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 24 Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 0 Covid patients currently in NSW hospitals: 991 Covid patients in NSW ICU: 39 New cases in Hunter-New England Health district in past 24 hours: 1,679 (639 PCR + 1,040 RAT). New cases statewide since yesterday: 16,288 (6,806 PCR + 9,482 RAT) Lives lost in NSW over the past 24 hours: 4 No deaths were reported in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours STATEWIDE VACCINATION RATES- 95.9% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 94.4% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 56.3% of people have had three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine*
- 83.5% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 79% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 48.1% of people aged 5-11 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
