Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 25
Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 0
Covid patients currently in NSW hospitals: 998
Covid patients in NSW ICU: 39 (15 requiring ventilation)
New cases in Hunter-New England Health district in past 24 hours: 1,468 ( 511 PCR + 957 RAT).
New cases statewide since yesterday: 14,034 (5,616 PCR + 8,418 RAT)
Lives lost in NSW over the past 24 hours: 7
Lives lost in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours: 2
( Women in their 90s from Maitland and Newcastle LGA's. My sincere condolences go out to their family and friends.)
STATEWIDE VACCINATION RATES
- 95.9% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 94.4% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 56.5% of people have had three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine*
- 83.5% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 79% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 48.1% of people aged 5-11 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
