ANZAC DAY SERVICES IN LAKE MACQUARIE (State electorate)
The RAAF will conduct a flying display above several local services on Anzac Day, involving F-35A Lightning II aircraft. Those displays can be seen above:
- Doyalson, 9.05am
- Dora Creek, 9.40am
- Wangi Wangi, 9.40am
- Belmont, 9.45am
- Newcastle, 10.00am
BOOLAROO-SPEERS POINT: 6am - Dawn service at the rotunda in Speers Point Park.
CARDIFF: 5am - Dawn Service at the cenotaph, Cardiff RSL Club. 4.50am - March starting at the corner of Main and Macquarie roads, proceeding to memorial at Cardiff RSL.
DOYALSON-WYEE: 5am - dawn service at the cenotaph outside the club. 8.30am - March starting within the grounds followed by main service at the cenotaph about 9am.
MORISSET: 6am - dawn service at Neville Thompson Oval, Dora Creek (behind Dora Creek Workers Club). 9.30am - March commencing. 10am - Main service.
RATHMINES: 12 noon - march to memorial followed by service at 12.30pm.
TERALBA: 8am – service in Teralba Anzac Park.
TORONTO: 6am - dawn service in Goffett Park at Toronto. 10.50am - March from Toronto Diggers Club down The Boulevarde, turn right into Victory Parade and proceed to Goffett Park, Toronto. 11am - main service at Goffett Park.
WANGI WANGI: 5.30am - dawn service at the war memorial outside Wangi RSL Club. 9.45am - parade of military vehicles starts at Puna Road followed by the march which will leave from Kent Place at approximately 10am. 10.30am - main service will follow the march at the RSL club memorial. All day - historic vehicle display on the foreshore in front of the RSL.
