Sailing regatta raises more than $45,000.

I'm a big fan of the Heaven Can Wait - Charity Sailing Regatta staged by Royal Motor Yacht Club Toronto each year.
Today, event organisers handed over the proceeds to two very worthwhile organisations.
After I added a small personal donation, $40,500 went to the Cancer Council NSW - Hunter Region and $5250 went to Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie.
My congratulations and thanks go to the club and Vice Commodore Mel Steiner, and to all of the participants and sponsors. Great job!
