Nathan Cerulli has been a valued member of Wyee Point Rural Fire Service Brigade since joining as a junior in 2009 and was recently awarded the National Medal for 15 years of diligent service at the 2026 NSW RFS Central Coast Volunteer Appreciation Day and Medal Presentation held in Doyalson in May 2026. Over the years, Nathan has grown into a highly capable and respected firefighter, achieving Advanced Firefighter qualifications and developing specialist skills in Breathing Apparatus and Chainsaw Operations. He has also generously given his time in important brigade support roles, including Health and Safety Officer and RFSA representative, helping to strengthen the brigade both operationally and behind the scenes. Nathan's service has spanned some of the most challenging emergency events in recent years, including the Black Summer bushfires, and his commitment has already been recognised through the Premier's Bushfire Emergency Citation and the National Emergency Medal and Clasp. Congratulations Nathan, you are a very worthy recipient of the National Medal.
