Schools back to full operations next Monday

The premier has confirmed that students will return to school full-time from next Monday, May 25.

I understand it's a decision that will delight many parents, and enrage others, but that's the decision that's been made and parents should make themselves aware of arrangements at their children's school.

Any concerns you have should be raised directly with the school or principal first.
Each school will be advising all parents of arrangements as many will introduce staggered pick-up and drop-off times, recess and lunch breaks etc. There will be no gatherings such as assemblies or group excursions.

While the government has exempted dedicated school buses from the 12-passenger limit, parents are encouraged to look at transport options.

I should also add that strict hygiene and cleaning processes are in place at all schools.
