With more bad news coming out of Victoria today, and from south-western Sydney, it’s really important that everyone remains vigilant, follows the very simple social distancing rules, and the very simple hygiene rules such as washing hands.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has today announced some small changes to existing rules that will come into effect next Friday, July 24. They include:
* Group bookings at cafes, restaurants and bars capped at 10 people (down from 20);
* Weddings and corporate events capped at 150 people, with no dancing or mingling or other high-risk activities;
* Funerals and religious gatherings capped at 100 people;
* Community sport events must have a Covid safety plan and the names of attendees must be kept.
Bear in mind that the new restrictions on pubs (groups capped at 10, compulsory record keeping etc) are in effect from today.
Please also understand that I cannot answer every question on social media or the website. As I’ve previously posted, you can find details on all the rules and restrictions in NSW here.
