Temporary closure of M1 exit ramp

Transport for NSW has advised that the M1's northbound off-ramp at the Toronto/Awaba interchange will be closed on Monday night between 8pm and 5am to allow for essential roadworks.
This means that motorists coming from Sydney or the Central Coast will not be able to exit onto Palmers Road. Those motorists should take the Freemans Waterhole exit, or the Morisset exit further south.
Motorists travelling from Newcastle in the north will be unaffected.
The closure will occur only on Monday night, with the work expected to be completed by 5am, weather permitting.
