Update on new Covid cases and venues

As previously reported, a third member of the same Newcastle family has tested positive for the coronavirus. All other close contacts are traced and now in isolation. It is still unknown where the first case - the young student at St Pius X school at Adamstown - was contracted.
The third member of that family attended St Francis Xavier College at Hamilton.
Both schools are closed until Monday for a deep clean.
?? There are some slight changes to the precautionary advice issued by Hunter-New England Health yesterday in the wake of these new cases. This advice includes that issued earlier in the week for the two other cases.
