75 years of peace in the Pacific

Australia 75 years ago today. We will always remember them.
?? If you're in the Wangi-Rathmines area today, Newcastle Military Vehicle Club will be doing a drive around to mark the occasion. The procession of vehicles will start at Ryhope at 9am, travel along Cessnock Rd, Wilton Rd, Wangi Rd, Dorrington Rd, Clydebank Rd, Ilford Rd and then onto Dobell Drive before stopping at Wangi RSL for display between 10am and midday.
?? At midday, the vehicles will leave via Watkins Rd, Dobell Drive, Beach Rd, Summerhill Drive and then back to Ryhope.
?? Please respect social distancing rules if you head out to see them, but make sure to give them a wave.
?? The ABC will broadcast the live national service from the Australian War Memorial in Canberra this morning from 10am.
