There were 3 new cases in NSW in the 24 hours to 8pm, and 2 among the returned overseas travellers. Each of the three new cases was recorded in Western Sydney but

?? There were 3 new cases in NSW in the 24 hours to 8pm, and 2 among the returned overseas travellers. Each of the three new cases was recorded in Western Sydney but are linked to the Northern Beaches outbreak.
?? Locally, the Hunter-New England region has now gone 147 days without a locally-acquired case.
?? Australia's death toll remains at 909 with 56 in NSW and 820 in Victoria.
?? NSW now has 173 active cases (as at 8pm). Victoria has 18, there are 13 in QLD, 14 in WA, 11 in SA, 1 in TAS and 4 in the NT. The ACT has zero. (All States except NSW include overseas traveller cases in their 'active case' numbers. In NSW, the traveller cases are included in the 'being treated' figure in the graphic below.)
