?? COVID UPDATE - Monday January 11
?? The good news is that the Sydney clusters remain under control and the local area remains Covid-free.
?? Just 3 new cases of community transmission recorded in NSW in the 24 hours to 8pm. All three are linked to the Berala cluster via known cases. There were also 8 new cases among the returned overseas travellers.
?? The Hunter-New England region has now gone 157 days without a locally-acquired case.
?? Please also remember that the wearing of masks is still mandatory if you’re visiting most indoor places on the Central Coast or Greater Sydney.
?? Australia's death toll remains at 909 with 56 in NSW and 820 in Victoria.
?? NSW has 201 active cases (as at 8pm) and we should hopefully start to see that number fall in the coming days. Victoria has 40, there are 25 in QLD, 15 in WA, 15 in SA and 19 in the NT. Tasmania and the ACT have zero.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
?? Don't forget, if you have any symptoms, however minor, please self-isolate and get tested immediately.
