For the first time since the Northern Beaches outbreak began in mid-December, active case numbers in NSW have started to decline, falling by 9 yesterday to 191.

?? NSW ACTIVE CASE NUMBERS START TO FALL
?? For the first time since the Northern Beaches outbreak began in mid-December, active case numbers in NSW have started to decline, falling by 9 yesterday to 191.
?? Just the 1 new case of community transmission recorded in NSW in the 24 hours to 8pm, which is linked to the Berala cluster. There were also 6 new cases among the returned overseas travellers.
?? The Hunter-New England region has now gone 159 days without a locally-acquired case.
?? Australia's death toll remains at 909 with 56 in NSW and 820 in Victoria.
?? As mentioned earlier, NSW has 191 active cases (as at 8pm). Victoria has 35, there are 26 in QLD, 14 in WA, 15 in SA and 17 in the NT. Tasmania and the ACT have zero.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
?? Don't forget, if you have any symptoms, however minor, please self-isolate and get tested immediately.
