?? COVID UPDATE - Wednesday January 27
?? 10 days in a row, now new cases of community transmission anywhere in NSW.
?? The Premier has flagged that an easing of restrictions will be discussed with health agencies today, but I imagine those discussions will primarily focus on Greater Sydney and the Central Coast where tougher restrictions still apply. I'll post any news if things change.
?? The Hunter-New England region has now gone 173 days without a locally-acquired case.
?? There were 2 new cases among the returned overseas travellers in hotel quarantine over the past 24 hours.
?? Australia's death toll remains at 909 with 56 in NSW and 820 in Victoria.
?? The number of active cases in NSW is down to 39. Victoria has 31, there are 12 in QLD, 13 in WA and 7 in the NT. South Australia has joined Tasmania and the ACT which all have zero active cases.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
?? Don't forget, if you have any symptoms, however minor, please self-isolate and get tested immediately.
