?? No new cases of community transmission anywhere in NSW for the 15th consecutive day. There has been, as you may have heard, a new case in Western Australia and the south-eastern parts, including Perth, were ordered into a week-long lockdown last night. If you have recently visited WA, please monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if symptoms appear.
?? The Hunter-New England region has now gone 178 days without a locally-acquired case.
?? There were 6 new cases among the returned overseas travellers in hotel quarantine over the past 24 hours.
?? The number of active cases in NSW has fallen again and now stands at just 17. Victoria has 21, just 6 in QLD, 12 in WA, 5 in the NT and 1 in SA. Tasmania and the ACT have zero active cases.
?? Australia's death toll remains at 909 with 56 in NSW and 820 in Victoria.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
?? Don't forget, if you have any symptoms, however minor, please self-isolate and get tested immediately.
