Remember the 'Masketeers' at The Rotary Club of Morisset I posted about some time back? Well they're still doing an extraordinary job.
As you can see in these photos, they sent a large number of their locally-made fabric masks to Papua New Guinea recently to help with the Covid-19 outbreaks there. The masks were distributed to poorer communities on the outskirts of Port Moresby.
The group is busily making more fabric masks to be sent to India which, as we know, is battling disastrous Covid outbreaks.
My congrats to everyone at Morisset Rotary on the initiative, especially Margaret Johnson, Kerry Morrissey and Mike Baudinette, and the Wangi Quilters who have also helped out. Great stuff!
If you'd like to help with the effort, you can contact the Masketeers through Morisset Rotary's Facebook page.
