COVID UPDATE - THURSDAY NOVEMBER 11
14 new cases in Hunter Region, with 60 in HNE Health district
There were 261 new cases reported statewide in the past 24 hours, with 60 of those in the Hunter-New England Area Health District. Of those, however, just 14 are in the Hunter Region with only 1 in Lake Macquarie.
OF THE NEW LOCAL CASES IN THE HEALTH DISTRICT:

- 1 from Shoal Bay
4 are from Cessnock LGA
- 2 from Abermain
- 1 from Cessnock
- 1 from Kurri Kurri
3 are from Newcastle LGA
- 1 from Maryland
- 1 from Maryville
- 1 from Wallsend
1 is from Lake Macquarie LGA
- 1 from Caves Beach
1 is from Maitland LGA

cared for in hospital. 4 are currently in ICU.
37 cases are linked, 19 are unlinked, 4 are still
under investigation.
24 were infectious in the community. 32 were
isolating while infectious. 4 are still under
investigation.
STATEWIDE:
- 94% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 90.4% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
Over the past 24 hours:
- 77,009 tests
- 261 new locally acquired cases
- 3 new overseas acquired cases
- 264 total new cases
- 228 people in hospital
- 40 people in ICU
- 1 death
