¿ COVID UPDATE - SUNDAY NOVEMBER 14
¿ 11 new cases in Hunter Region, with 42 in HNE Health district.
¿ There were 195 new cases reported statewide in the 24 hours to 8pm last night with 42 of those in the Hunter-New England Area Health District. Of those, however, just 11 are in the Hunter Region with 3 in Lake Macquarie which are all from the same household.
¿ OF THE NEW LOCAL CASES IN THE HEALTH DISTRICT:
¿ 4 are from Newcastle LGA
- 1 from Jesmond
- 1 from Maryland
- 1 from North Lambton
- 1 from Waratah
¿ 4 are from Cessnock LGA
- 1 from Cessnock
- 1 from Kitchener
- 1 from Neath
- 1 from Weston
¿ 3 are from Lake Macquarie LGA
- 3 from Cameron Park

- 19 of the total active cases are currently being
cared for in hospital. 3 are currently in ICU.
- 26 cases are linked, 9 are unlinked, 7 are still
under investigation.
- 22 were infectious in the community. 13 were
isolating while infectious. 7 are still under
investigation.
¿ STATEWIDE:
- 94.2% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 91% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 57,878 tests
- 195 new locally acquired cases
- 1 new interstate acquired case
- 196 total new cases
- 224 people in hospital
- 32 people in ICU
- 1 death
