¿ Lake Macquarie: 9 new cases. (Almost all of these cases are linked to a school outbreak which is contained)
¿ Hunter Region: 10 new cases.
¿ Hunter health district: 22 new cases.
¿ Statewide: 248 new cases.
¿ OF THE NEW LOCAL CASES:
¿¿ 9 are from Lake Macquarie LGA
- 4 from Cardiff
- 4 from Macquarie Hills
- 1 from Gateshead
¿¿ 1 is from Newcastle LGA
- 1 from Wickham

¿¿6 are from Mid Coast LGA
- 3 from Taree
- 2 from Wingham
- 1 from Cundletown
¿¿5 are from Moree Plains LGA
- 5 from Moree
¿¿1 is from Armidale LGA
- 1 from Old Mill
- 10 of the total active cases are currently being cared for in hospital. 3 are currently in ICU.
- 19 cases are linked and 3 are unlinked.
- 14 were infectious in the community and 8 were isolating while infectious.
¿ STATEWIDE:
- 94.4% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 92% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 81% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 75.7% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 80,317 tests
- 248 total new cases
- 195 people in hospital
- 35 people in ICU
- 2 deaths
