Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea

Today we gathered as a parliamentary community to show our support to those affected by cancer, by hosting a #biggestmorningtea.

We all know someone affected by cancer either as a patient or a carer.

Cancer Council Australia are not only the lead charity in providing funding for cancers in Australia, but also in providing practical support for people who are dealing with cancer when it's impacting on them emotionally financially and obviously physically.

Cancer Council NSW Board Director Carolyn Hiese and Cancer Council NSW ambassador Leon Dale both gave emotive, raw and inspiring speeches about their experiences with cancer and I wish them all the best in their journey.
