Nominate a Local Legend

One of the things I love about my job is delivering Community Recognition Statements in NSW Parliament.

These short congratulatory speeches recognise individuals and groups (and sometimes even businesses) who are achieving big things in the Lake Macquarie community, whether it's through charity or volunteer work, sporting achievements, gaining a special award, reaching a major career milestone or just going out of their way to help others.

These local heroes deserve some public recognition and praise.
