Meet the 2023 International Sport Karate Association World Champion (in her age division) Melissa Baez!

Melissa recently won the championship belt when she competed in the ISKA World Cup, which is the biggest martial arts event in the Southern Hemisphere attracting more than 1400 competitors from all over the world.

Melissa also scored 2nd Place in another division, showing that anything is possible with perseverance.

She also carried her own NSW state flag during the opening ceremony which has now become her good luck charm.

Congratulations Melissa, you are a true and very deserving champion!!
